About the Position
We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Abilene, TX. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help residents regain skills needed for daily living across skilled nursing and long-term care settings. Minimum Requirements
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
- Active Texas OTA license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience servicing skilled nursing facility and long-term care (Part B) populations preferred.
- Productivity expectation: 87%.
- Comfort seeing 8–12 residents per day in a busy caseload required.
- Dress code: navy blue scrubs.
- New graduates are eligible if eager to learn; preferred prior SNF experience during Level II fieldwork.
