About the Position

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Rehabilitation Therapy Specialty: Physical Therapist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Must hold an active license as a Physical Therapist in the state in which you intend to work. Certifications: Maintain and update physical therapy skills and certifications as necessary. Must-Have: - Ability to evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation. - Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records for evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries. - Ability to supervise assistant staff regarding all aspects of patient care. - Strong communication skills to coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals. - Competence in completing accurate patient chart documentation. - Physical capability to perform duties that include prolonged sitting, standing, walking, and lifting over 50 pounds. Description: This role involves implementing patient rehabilitation programs to help improve mobility, function, and strength. The physical therapist will evaluate and treat patients for various physical therapy services. This position may require guiding and monitoring patient care throughout their treatment and follow-up. Supervision of physical therapy assistants and aides will be part of the responsibilities. Communication with healthcare teams is essential to ensure quality patient care. The therapist must maintain and manage patient documentation with accuracy. Patient comfort and addressing questions or concerns will also be fundamental responsibilities. Collaboration with front office staff regarding scheduling and patient follow-up is expected. The therapist should be able to make independent decisions concerning patient care. Active participation in marketing and referral processes may be required. Adherence to privacy policies and understanding billing policies is crucial. The role requires physical mobility and the ability to lift and assist patients with mobility needs. Overall, the position works in a patient-centered rehabilitation setting and demands continual alertness for safety. Participation in compliance with regulations is expected. No travel is required for this position.
