About the Position
Job Title: CVOR Certified Surgical First Assistant Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Duration: 15 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, CSFA, NBSTSA, NCCSA accepted Must-Have: Cardiac, Vascular, Endovascular, Thoracic experience required. Privilege process completion prior to start (approximate timeline - 3 months). Description: This position requires a privileging process prior to starting. The candidate must possess experience in cardiac, vascular, endovascular, and thoracic procedures. Call is required one day a week and one weekend approximately every four weeks, subject to departmental needs. Candidates will float within their scope of practice and to the main operating room as necessary. Clinical screening will be conducted to determine fit, followed by a review by management for final decision. A maximum of seven days of time off is allowed. No holiday time off requests are accepted. Full compliance is required to start on time; any non-compliance may result in delays. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. Two supervisory references are highly preferred at the time of submission. Candidates must be available to submit required documentation and complete necessary labs promptly after signing the contract. Travelers must be flexible regarding other locations and shifts if required. No self-scheduling is permitted. Management reserves the right to adjust scheduling as needed to support unit requirements.
