About the Position

We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Waukon, IA. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills they need for everyday life. Minimum Requirements

  • Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or accredited OTA program.
  • Active Iowa COTA license or ability to obtain required state licensure prior to the assignment start.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Experience providing occupational therapy services in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Client requires experience with ADL retraining, adaptive equipment recommendations, and documentation in an electronic medical record preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and follow supervision from a licensed Occupational Therapist.
