Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)

Work Setting: Health and Rehabilitation Center

Pay Rate: Up to $60/hour

Shift Length and Days: 8-5 Mon-Fri, can be flexible if needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address client-specific goals, such as improving daily living skills, motor function, or workplace performance.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions using evidence-based techniques, adaptive equipment, and patient education.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure holistic care.
  • Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
  • Educate clients, families, and caregivers on strategies to support therapy goals and maintain safety.
  • Adhere to all Oregon state regulations, ethical standards, and organizational policies governing occupational therapy practice.

Qualifications:
  • Occupational Therapists licensure as outlined by the state Board of Occupational Therapy in Oregon
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate with facility staff to promote highest practicable physical, mental and psychosocial wellbeing.
