About the Position
Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty required License: Active state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Travel experience Description: This position requires working in a typically high-demand area that is prone to hurricanes. Travelers should be informed that they may be assigned to an emergency team during hurricane events. It is crucial to be flexible with scheduling, as shift times may vary based on patient needs. On-call duties will be shared among team members, typically two nights per week and every other weekend. If called, the expectation is to report to the department within 30 minutes. Floating between Interventional Radiology and the Cardiac Catheterization Lab may be required based on operational needs. The ideal candidate will possess skills in a variety of procedures including central venous access, embolization, and hemodynamic monitoring. Experience with the Epic charting system is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate excellent teamwork and communication skills. This role involves caring for adult and geriatric patient populations in a busy procedural environment. All candidates must provide proof of required certifications upon application. Candidates should be prepared to work in a collaborative and supportive interdisciplinary team environment.
