About the Position

Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer Profession: Diagnostic Imaging Specialty: Echo Technologist Duration: Permanent Shift: Two day shifts per week (no call) Hours per Shift: Varies Experience: Minimum of one (1) year performing echocardiography exams preferred License: ARDMS Registered or registry eligible in Adult Echo required Certifications: Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound program required Must-Have: Experience with abdomen, OB/GYN, breast, vascular preferred Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cardiac Sonographer to perform diagnostic examinations using ultrasound equipment to produce images of patients' hearts. Ensuring patient care and comfort throughout the process is essential. The Echocardiographer will work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and high-quality imaging services for patient care. Core knowledge of anatomy and physiology will enhance the accuracy of diagnoses. Strong communication skills are necessary for collaborating with medical staff and explaining procedures to patients. This role contributes to a supportive healthcare environment. Minimum one (1) year experience in a rural hospital setting preferred.
