Travel Rad Tech - $1,541 to $1,776 per week in Hilo, HI - Job Description & Requirements Certified Radiology Technologist - (RAD Tech) StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8/10/12 D/E/N Pay Rate: $1541.00 - $1776.00 X-Ray Tech needed ASAp for 13 weeks Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer. Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment. General Requirements: A minimum of two (2) years as a radiologic technologist. Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the operation of radiographic equipment; functions independently without supervision. Knowledge of radiation safety and protocols. Must have dosimeter badge. Experience with Meditech EMR, Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, and Konica DR preferred. Must be fully vaccinated for COVID - no exceptions Traveler must arrive on island the Friday prior to the Monday start for HR/EH clearance appointments. Licensure: A current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer. Certification: A current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification, and a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. No guarantee of time requested off. Must be fully vaccinated for COVID - no exceptions 2 years of progressively responsible imaging technologist/specialist experience which demonstrated a thorough knowledge of imaging procedures and/or techniques. A current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy (T), BLS and a current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a Radiation Therapist. The Radiation Therapist is responsible for independently performing a variety of radiation therapy treatments, simulations, treatment planning and fabrication of specialized treatment aide in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the physician. Must be proficient on a Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator, and ARIA EMR. Must be able to treat 25-30 patients/day. Treatment modalities: 3D, IMRT, SBRT, electrons.
