Job Description & Requirements Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Positron Emission Tomography - (Nuclear Med Tech) StartDate: 01/10/2022Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $2050.00 - 2150.00 2+ years of experience. 50-mile radius rule. No more than a 3-month work history gap in the last year. Candidate must have strong PET experience (not just Nuclear Med experience). PET Scanner is a Siemens Biograph. We use Biodose, PETNET, Synapse, and EPIC. Candidate must have strong PET experience (not just Nuclear Med experience). Tech works autonomously/independently in department. Responsible for total care of patient including educating patient on diet restrictions prior, checking glucose levels, starting IV and dosing patient; as well as collaborating to physicians and other disciplines. Tech is required to follow all safety policies as they relate to radiation. Good communication skills needed. Scan between 4-6 patients a day. Must have 2 years experience. Must have previous experience with PET/CT- Must be recent experience. Scans are performed on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
