Responsibilities of a Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Occupational Therapist OT: Provides inpatient care to patients who are undergoing rehabilitation or recovering from an illness, injury, or disability Provides rehab services to residents Completing an assessment of each patient's needs Work with other staff members to come up with treat plans Focus on helping patients gain strength and skills to perform daily activities and tasks Help patients learn to perform tasks using new equipment such as a cane or wheelchair Submits all billing logs and necessary information on a timely basis
