Speech Language Pathologist
Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a committed Speech Language Pathologist SLP to join a school district in Denver, Colorado for the 2024 - 2025 school year with the possibility to extend. The qualified School Speech Language Pathologist SLP will act as the students' partner throughout their daily tasks and assist students to function at their personal best. You will maximize the quality of life and movement potential within the spheres of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment or intervention, and rehabilitation.
Responsibilities of a School Speech Language Pathologist SLP: Consult and collaborate with school staff and families in regards to studentsspeech and language deficits Conduct initial screenings as well as comprehensive evaluations in the area of speech and language to determine studentsneed for services or need of dismissal from services Participate in the IEP process in developing present levels of performance, goals and objectives, and treatment recommendations for students qualifying for speech therapy services Provide speech therapy sessions through the use of current best practices based on prescribed services in the IEP Maintain all documentation required by the district and ASHA*s code of ethics including, but not limited to, daily notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEP*s Assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development New grads and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply - We will support you through this transition Grade level Pre K - High School 2023 - 2024 school year Documentation is completed in a timely, complete, legible, concise and accurate manner
