Radiologic Technologist (R) - Acute Care
Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented Radiologic Technologist with Acute Care experience to work at an excellent healthcare facility in Grand Junction, CO. This is a fantastic opportunity to build upon your diagnostic imaging skills while advancing your career as a radiographer. The job will entail acquiring diagnostic images through x-ray or related medical imaging techniques. You care about patients and are committed to helping to assess their respective conditions. You will prepare and position patients for capture of diagnostic images, operate imaging equipment, and coordinate with physicians.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain and operate diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures.
- Operate computerized equipment to capture images.
- Work with physicians to evaluate images and determine if more are needed.
- Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Valid state radiology registration, as required by state law
- Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
- Current CPR/ BLS certification
- 2 years of experience required within the last 5 years
